Lumen Church was born out of a simple but powerful conviction: that the light of God is meant to be shared, not kept. Our founding leadership stepped out in faith to create a space where people from every background could encounter the living God, grow in community, and be equipped to change the world around them.
From our earliest gatherings in the Detroit metro area, we have been marked by a spirit of radical generosity, transparent leadership, and a heart for the hurting. Over the years, we have grown from a small home gathering to a thriving congregation with a global charity footprint.
As a registered 508(c)(1)(a) free church with EIN 41-2874091, we operate with the highest standards of financial accountability. Every dollar given is stewarded with prayer, intention, and full transparency.
